Sterling Silver is the material we choose to make Nathnit jewelry. It is 90% silver mixed with alloys that provide strength and durability. We always ensure the highest quality of our suppliers so the product we create in Nathnit is simply perfect, durable and resistant. And always look like the first day!

In Nathnit we believe in the second life of things, especially of materials. We only work with European recycled silver because we want to give it a second life: it’s called Ecosilver and it’s the alternative of ecological and sustainable jewelry compared to conventional sterling silver. The recycled silver Ecosilver can be treated and handled in the same way as sterling silver, with the same results, the only thing that changes is that it is more respectful with the environment.⠀

925 Sterling Silver can react to air, light, and humidity of the environment. Also to some ph of the skin; it’s not common, but you should know it.

The best way to clean your pieces of Nathnit Jewelry with Sterling Silver and make them last forever is simple. Clean them a with a very soft cloth and a silver cleaner that is not abrasive. If you prefer DIY care you can also wash them with water and mild soap in a very gentle way to not damage them. We encourage you to dry them with another soft cloth to make sure they are shiny and without soap marks.

We recommend to keep you Nathnit jewels in an individual bag or in a closed box. They will stay like new longer if you minimize the contact with air, direct light or moisture. These products and toxics can deteriorate and oxidize the jewels.

We encourage you to avoid as much as possible the direct contact of Nathnit jewelry with cosmetics or perfumes that may damage them. We also don’t recommend carrying the pieces while you are doing sports or you are in the sea or in the pool.

ღ Always remember that they are unique pieces handmade with lots of love. Contact us if you have any questions regarding the care of the Nathnit jewels.
